RE/MAX of Boulder was named No. 1 single RE/MAX office in the U.S. for 2016 sales volume, marking the eighth time the company earned the No. 1 ranking.
The award was presented at the recent annual international RE/MAX convention held in Las Vegas, NV, attended by more than 6,000 agents and brokers from 60 countries.
“We are thrilled that the hard work and dedication of our more than 100 Realtors has been recognized,” says Jay Kalinski, RE/MAX of Boulder broker/owner who accepted the award. “Serving the community of Boulder Valley – the community I grew up in – means so much to me and my family. This award represents the many friends, neighbors and newcomers that RE/MAX of Boulder Realtors helped to find and purchase a home in a competitive real estate market.”
Last year proved especially challenging for those seeking to buy a home in Boulder County, with 2016 characterized as having “fierce buying competition,” particularly in the first half, according to the 2017 Boulder Valley Real Estate Report published by RE/MAX of Boulder. The fierceness was driven by one simple reason: demand far exceeded supply of available homes, townhomes and condominiums for sale in Boulder Valley.
But since its founding in 1977, RE/MAX of Boulder has helped thousands of families move through transitions in their lives and find and purchase a home, or sell a home, in varying market conditions. Despite the challenges of strong competition, last year was no different.
Managing Broker DB Wilson says the ‘difference-makers’ – the factors that give the company the edge – are the culture of community service, clear and accurate market analysis to guide decision-making, and three critical characteristics for agents.
“Our Realtors are experts in buying and selling local real estate, we are experts in and actively engage in the communities we serve, and we put our clients’ wants and needs first,” explains Wilson.
In fact, Realtors at RE/MAX of Boulder are longtime residents with a combined average of 14 years of experience. Local expertise is grassroots, acquired through living in towns across the Front Range including Boulder, Broomfield, Westminster, Erie, Frederick, Firestone, Golden, Lafayette, Longmont, Louisville, Nederland, and Lyons.
And, support for charitable causes across Boulder County runs deep throughout the organization. RE/MAX of Boulder Realtors volunteer time, donate to nonprofits and serve as leaders with nonprofit organizations all with an eye toward bringing together businesses, clients and nonprofits to create powerful partnerships.
“We stand for community,” says Owner and Founder of RE/MAX of Boulder Tom Kalinski. “It’s a guiding principle of our company and we are committed to making a local impact.”
RE/MAX of Boulder is celebrating its 40th year as a trusted community expert, having earned its place as Boulder Valley’s top real estate agency. With more than 100 Realtors who average 14 years of experience, RE/MAX of Boulder is made up of local community experts who live, work, play, and raise their kids in Boulder Valley.
