Not Enough For The Nuggets

Last night marked the last game of the season for the Nuggs and for the nineth time in ten seasons the Nuggets have been bounced in the first round. For coach George Karl it's the thirteenth time in the last fifteen seasons he as been unable to advance his team past round one.

Lead by the next NBA superstar, Steph Curry, the Golden State Warriors shot the lights out. That said, many of those look were uncontested as teams coached by Karl have historically no concern for defense. Playoff basketball is big boy hoops. Physical and defensive minded teams survive and advance. The Nuggets were/ have been a very good home team in the regular season. They were below .500 on the road this season, largely because they couldn't stop anyone from scoring. Great teams play defense and win away from home, with George Karl running the show don't expect anything more from the Nuggets than to be an entertaining regular season flash.
