Tammy Milano, one of Boulder’s Re/Max agents, has become the new 2013 Louisville Chamber of Commerce President. She is very excited for her new position in the Chamber and expects to accomplish great things in 2013. Tammy first moved to Louisville after her and her husband got married. Since then she has raised a beautiful family and now has 4 kids. Tammy loves the small town feeling of Louisville and knows that it is a great place to raise a family.
Tammy’s involvement in Louisville’s Chamber started 6 years ago. She knew she wanted to give back to the community and what better way than to get involved with the Louisville Chamber of Commerce? Tammy started in the Chamber as a director and ambassador, then worked her way up to Vice President and has now successfully become the President of the 2013 Chamber. As President, Tammy’s main goal is to start a new fundraiser to make up for lost funds. Other goals on her list include maintaining business retention and involving local high school programs in Chamber activities. Through Tammy’s Chamber involvement her favorite event so far was last year’s Louisville Parade of Lights. Tammy mentioned it was the biggest parade they’ve had so far and it was so great to see the whole community’s involvement.
In her free time Tammy loves to hang out with her kids and cheer for the competitive baseball team that her husband coaches. The whole family really enjoys baseball and other outdoor activities. Tammy’s favorite aspect of Louisville is the small, involved community where everyone knows everyone. Her number one suggestion of where to move to would, of course be Louisville! Congratulations to Tammy Milano for becoming Louisville’s 2013 Chamber President!
