This past Saturday evening was certainly not my first experience at The Kitchen community restaurant located in the heart of Boulder at 1039 Pearl Street, but it was as divine as my previous visits. The Kitchen is legit local cuisine as they purchase from local farmers from all around the county and state. The price reflects such a commitment to fresh and local food but it's certainly well worth it. The friends I took up company with possessed a wide variety of tastes, carnivores to pescatarians. The menu satisified all, and more. The table ranged from the delectable Colorado lamb sirloin that I chose, to a rich and robust hand rolled mushroom gnocchi. The wine was paired perfectly at the selection of our excellent waiter, Ken. The atmosphere is rustic modern, patrons are lively but not rude, tasteful but not pretentious. The staff is pleasant and hard working, you can tell everyone enjoys their time there. If you are fortunate enough, eat at The Kitchen as much as possible, it's that diverse and delicious. If you're looking for the perfect fit for a special occasion, The Kitchen is second to none.
